In a video message shared on Instagram, Ali Tareen confirmed his qualification as a bidder but warned fans not to assume he will purchase the team at any cost.
He said that financial sense will be the deciding factor.

“If we get the team at a good price, we will definitely buy it. But buying at any cost is not the plan,” he stated.
Base Price Set at Rs1.8 Billion
The base price for the Multan Sultans franchise has been set at Rs1.8 billion.
