Pakistani passport holders can travel to a limited number of countries without obtaining a visa in advance, either through visa-free access or visa on arrival facilities.
According to the latest Henley Passport Index 2026, Pakistan’s passport ranking has improved slightly, but it still remains among the weakest passports globally, reflecting restricted travel freedom.

What This Means for Pakistani Travelers
The Henley Index highlights a growing global mobility divide. While top passport holders enjoy near-borderless travel, Pakistani citizens still face strict visa limitations, impacting tourism, education, business, and employment opportunities abroad.
Despite the slight improvement in ranking, visa planning remains essential for Pakistani travelers, and advance preparation is often unavoidable.
