Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah system has launched a new awareness campaign titled “Jayi lil-Umrah” (Departure for Umrah) aimed at improving services and guiding pilgrims on proper procedures and conduct during their Umrah journey.

According to reports from the Saudi Press Agency, the initiative focuses on enhancing the overall Umrah experience by providing clear guidance, practical information, and digital support for pilgrims.

Part of Vision 2030 and Ramadan Preparations

The campaign is part of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to modernize religious services and improve facilities for pilgrims from around the world. It is also a key component of preparations for the Ramadan Umrah season, a period that sees the highest number of Umrah visitors annually.

Officials stated that the initiative is designed to make the Umrah journey simpler, safer, and more organized, especially during peak seasons.
