Rs. 13,000 Ramadan Relief Distribution Begins – Check Your Eligibility Now

The distribution of Rs. 13,000 financial assistance under the Prime Minister’s Ramadan Relief Package 2026 has officially started across Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the launch of this special relief initiative aimed at supporting low-income families during the holy month of Ramadan.

This year, the government has adopted a transparent digital payment system to ensure quick and corruption-free distribution.

Key Highlights of Ramadan Relief Package 2026

  • Amount per family: Rs. 13,000

  • Total beneficiary families: Approximately 1.21 crore

  • Total allocation: Around Rs. 38–39 billion

  • Payment method: Direct transfer to digital wallets and bank accounts

In addition, Rs. 10 billion has been allocated for families already registered under social protection programs such as Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).

How to Check Your Eligibility

Most eligible families are already registered in government databases. If your household is:

  • Already enrolled in social safety net programs

  • Previously verified under poverty databases

  • Receiving government financial assistance

You likely do not need to apply separately.

However, if you believe you qualify but are not registered:

  • Visit your nearest government office

  • Use official online verification systems

  • Update household data if required

Authorities have stated that beneficiary identification will be conducted transparently to ensure funds reach deserving families.

How Payments Will Be Made

Unlike previous years where subsidies were distributed through utility stores, this year the government has adopted a direct cash transfer model.

The payment system follows a secure formula:

EligibleFamily→Verification→DirectDigitalTransferEligible Family → Verification → Direct Digital Transfer

Funds will be transferred:

  • Directly to bank accounts

  • Through approved digital wallets

  • Without physical cash distribution

The State Bank of Pakistan has issued a formal payment mechanism to ensure safe and fast transfers.

Once beneficiaries receive an official notification, they can withdraw funds through banks or authorized centers.
