Redmi has officially lifted the curtain on key details of its upcoming smartphone, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, confirming both its design and an eye-catching 9,000mAh battery.
The company has already confirmed that the device will be powered by MediaTek’s newly launched Dimensity 9500s chipset, positioning it as a high-performance phone with a strong focus on endurance.

9,000mAh Battery Officially Confirmed
In a post shared on Weibo, Redmi confirmed that the Turbo 5 Max will pack a huge 9,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest batteries ever seen in a mainstream smartphone.
However, the brand has not yet revealed details about charging speed or fast-charging technology.
Official Design Goes Live
Alongside the battery announcement, Redmi also shared official design renders of the Turbo 5 Max in an Ocean Breeze Blue color option.
The smartphone features:
-
A CNC-machined metal frame
-
A fiberglass rear panel
-
A pill-shaped dual rear camera module
-
A metal ring surrounding the camera housing for a premium look
The design closely resembles the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, contradicting earlier leaked renders that suggested a different appearance.
Launch Timeline Still a Mystery
As of now, Redmi has not announced an official launch date for the Turbo 5 Max. More details are expected to surface in the coming days as the launch window approaches.
