The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has announced a major fee hike for students appearing in the Matric and Intermediate exams 2026.
New fees include:

CCTV Camera Fee: Rs 30 per student

Certificate Fee: Increased from Rs 550 to Rs 1000

Miscellaneous Charges: Rs 900
-
Development Charges: Rs 350
-
Postal Charges: Rs 300
-
Scholarship Fee: Rs 250

Additionally, processing, registration, and admission fees have also been revised:

Processing Fee: Rs 450 → Rs 1000

Registration Fee: Rs 1000
-
Admission Fee: Rs 1700–1900 (varies by group and private vs regular students)
The total fees for regular Intermediate students now amount to Rs 7730, while private students will pay Rs 7570.
The Matric exams are scheduled to begin on March 27, and Intermediate exams on May 20. The deadline for submission with triple fees is March 9.
Meanwhile, the All Pakistan Private Schools Association (APPSA) has opposed the fee hike and new taxes, calling them unreasonable.
Students are advised to check official circulars and plan their fee submissions accordingly.
