Punjab Introduces New Digital Platform for Wildlife Services

The Punjab Wildlife Department has introduced a new online platform to streamline wildlife-related services for citizens, marking a major shift in how permits and licenses are processed across the province.

According to Wildlife Rangers Punjab, all online wildlife services have now been moved from the Wildlife Pass App to the Punjab government’s centralized e-Biz online portal.

Wildlife Services Shifted to Punjab’s e-Biz Portal

Under the new system, citizens will now apply for wildlife-related services exclusively through the e-Biz portal, including:

  • Hunting permits
  • Hunting licenses
  • Breeding farm licenses
  • Dealer licenses
  • Other wildlife-related approvals

The move is aimed at creating a unified and efficient digital experience for the public.

Existing Applications Successfully Migrated

Chief Wildlife Ranger Punjab Mubeen Elahi confirmed that all data from the Wildlife Pass App has been safely transferred to the new e-Biz system.

He stated that applications already submitted for hunting permits and licenses have been automatically migrated, ensuring continuity and avoiding inconvenience for applicants.

No Need to Reapply, Officials Clarify

Authorities have assured citizens that no reapplication is required for those who previously applied through the Wildlife Pass App.

According to officials, all previously submitted applications are now part of the new digital system and will be processed accordingly.

One Platform for Multiple Government Services

Wildlife officials explained that the e-Biz portal is being developed as a centralized digital hub for multiple provincial departments.

The goal is to offer easy access, transparency, and standardized online services, reducing paperwork and improving service delivery across Punjab.

Step Toward Smarter Digital Governance

Officials believe the transition will help enhance monitoring, record-keeping, and public convenience, while strengthening digital governance in the wildlife sector.

Citizens have been advised to use the Punjab e-Biz portal for all future wildlife-related online services.
