In a major boost for young people, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced an interest-free financial support program aimed at empowering skilled youth across the province.
Under the Parwaz Card initiative, eligible young individuals will receive up to Rs. 300,000 without any interest, helping them start businesses, upgrade skills, and move toward financial independence.
Parwaz Card, Rah-e-Rozgar & Skill Development Portal Launched
Speaking at the launch ceremony of the Parwaz Card, Rah-e-Rozgar program, and Skill Development Portal, Maryam Nawaz emphasized that providing relief and opportunities to citizens is the state’s responsibility.
She stated that youth empowerment is a top priority, and the government is committed to transforming young people into skilled and educated contributors to the economy.
50,000 Youth to Receive Parwaz Cards
The Chief Minister announced that 50,000 skilled youth will be issued Parwaz Cards, ensuring transparent and merit-based disbursement of funds.
“No young person should be left behind due to lack of resources,” she said, adding that Punjab’s population largely consists of youth who deserve opportunities to move forward.
Skills Training Linked With Employment Opportunities

She stressed that the government is not only focusing on training but also connecting skills with real job opportunities.
Youth Earning Through E-Commerce and Global Skills Demand
The Chief Minister noted that many young people are now earning respectable incomes through e-commerce platforms, while skilled labor remains in high demand globally.
“Our youth are talented and proving themselves around the world. All they need is proper training and support,” she added.
Government Resources Dedicated to Public Welfare
Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed that all provincial resources are being utilized for public service, citing initiatives like mobile police stations that bring services directly to people’s doorsteps.
She concluded by saying that empowering youth through skills and financial support will strengthen Punjab’s economy and future workforce.
