The Punjab government has officially started Phase 2 of its laptop distribution scheme, aiming to provide 60,000 laptops to students across the province. The initiative is part of a broader effort to promote digital learning and support academic growth.
The second phase rollout has begun in Lahore and other districts, following a structured schedule announced by authorities.
Scheme Targets 160,000 Students in Total
Officials say the laptop program will benefit 160,000 students in total. Under Phase 1, laptops were allocated to 100,000 students, and distribution is still ongoing alongside the new phase.
The goal is to ensure that as many deserving students as possible gain access to modern technology.
How Students Can Apply
Students can continue to submit applications through the Higher Education Department (HED) portal, which remains active for registrations. Authorities have encouraged eligible students to apply without delay.
