Punjab Class 8 Exams 2026 Date Sheet Released – Check Full Schedule

The official date sheet for the Grade 8 Annual Examination 2026 has been announced in Punjab.

The schedule was released by the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), outlining a four-day examination plan starting in March.

Students and parents are advised to carefully review the timetable and follow the official instructions to avoid any issues on exam day.

Punjab Class 8 Exam Schedule 2026

According to the official notification:

  • Start Date: March 9, 2026

  • End Date: March 12, 2026

  • Exam Timing: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM (All papers)

Subject-Wise Date Sheet

  • Monday, March 9: Mathematics

  • Tuesday, March 10: Urdu

  • Wednesday, March 11: English

  • Thursday, March 12: Science

All exams will be conducted in the morning session.

Other Subjects Under School-Based Assessment

The authority clarified that:

  • Remaining Grade 8 subjects will be conducted by schools

  • IBS facility will be used under the School Based Assessment (SBA) model

  • Schedule for End of Year Term Assessment 2026 will be shared separately

This means only core subjects are centrally scheduled, while others will follow school-managed timelines.

Important Instructions for Students

PECTAA has issued strict guidelines for exam candidates.

Prohibited Items:

Students are not allowed to bring:

  • Mobile phones

  • Smart watches

  • Calculators

  • Any electronic device

Violation of these rules may lead to disciplinary action.

Mandatory Items to Bring

Students must bring:

  • B Form

  • Roll number slip

  • Blue or black ballpoint pen

  • Clipboard

For Mathematics paper, students must bring their own geometry box.

Candidates are instructed to reach the examination center at least 30 minutes before the paper begins.

Exam Hall Rules

The authority has also clarified:

  • Only the provided answer booklet will be used

  • No additional sheets will be issued

  • Students cannot leave the hall before the exam ends

  • Both objective and subjective answers must be written in the same booklet

These instructions are aimed at maintaining transparency and uniformity across examination centers.
