Pakistan is likely to see a reduction in petroleum prices from December 1, according to industrial and government sources.
Officials say international oil supply has increased, creating room for a price cut in the local market.
Expected Reductions
-
Petrol: May drop by Rs. 3.70 per liter
-
High-Speed Diesel: Expected to fall by Rs. 4.28 per liter
-
Light Diesel Oil: Could see the biggest cut — up to Rs. 6.35 per liter
-
Kerosene: Likely to decrease by Rs. 0.73, bringing the new price close to Rs. 193.61 per liter
If approved, the new prices will take effect at the start of the month, offering some relief to consumers struggling with rising living costs.
