Peshawar Zalmi appear to have secured a major boost ahead of the PSL 11 player auction by retaining their biggest star, Babar Azam, in the Platinum category.
While no formal announcement was made before the retention deadline, Zalmi owner Javed Afridi sparked confirmation rumors after sharing a photo with Babar on social media, using a crown emoji often linked with the batter’s “King” nickname.

Speculation had been circulating that Babar could move to one of the new PSL franchises, including Sialkot Stallionz and Hyderabad. However, the latest development suggests Zalmi have chosen to build their campaign around their captain once again.
