The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has announced a major recruitment drive, approving the hiring of 500 sergeants and drivers under its enforcement wing.
According to officials, the authority will fill 500 Grade-7 positions, with recruitment planned on a district-wise quota basis to ensure representation from across Punjab. The vacancies are specifically for sergeant drivers within the Para Force.
Applicants must fall within the 18 to 25 years age bracket and are required to have completed Intermediate education. In addition, candidates must hold a valid Light Transport Vehicle (LTV) driving license to be eligible.
The recruitment process will include physical fitness assessments and driving tests, which candidates must clear to qualify for final selection.
Applications will be accepted online through the National Application Service, and interested candidates have been advised to complete their submissions before the January 15 deadline.
Officials said the hiring initiative aims to strengthen PERA’s operational capacity and improve enforcement effectiveness across the province.
