The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has submitted its preliminary list of players to the International Cricket Council (ICC) in line with the initial deadline for squad submissions.
According to sources, the PCB retains the right to make changes to the submitted names without ICC approval until January 31. After that date, any alteration to the squad will require clearance from the ICC Technical Committee.

Along with the initial 15-member squad, the PCB has also forwarded the names of reserve players. Officials say the board plans to finalize the squad for the T20 World Cup and the upcoming series against Australia after the conclusion of Pakistan’s series against Sri Lanka.
The preliminary list includes players who are part of the Sri Lanka tour, along with senior stars Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Haris Rauf.
