Bangladesh’s First Assignment After World Cup Withdrawal
The ODI series will also mark Bangladesh’s first international appearance since their withdrawal from the ongoing 20-team T20 World Cup 2026.
Bangladesh were replaced by Scotland after declining to travel to India due to security concerns.
This makes the ODI series not just another bilateral contest, but an important comeback for the Bangladeshi side.
Pakistan’s Current Focus – T20 World Cup Super Eight
Meanwhile, Pakistan are currently preparing for the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup 2026.
Their first Super Eight clash is against New Zealand in Colombo on February 21.
