Pakistan Railways has approved a significant increase in monthly fees for schools operating under its administration, affecting both railway employees’ children and general students.
According to railway officials, the monthly fee for children of Grade 1 to Grade 10 railway employees has been raised from Rs. 700 to Rs. 900. For children of Grade 11 to Grade 22 employees and officers, the fee has been increased from Rs. 800 to Rs. 1,000 per month.

For students who are not children of railway employees, the monthly fee has been raised from Rs. 1,300 to Rs. 1,500.
Region-wise revisions have also been implemented. In Sammasatta and Khanewal, fees for general students at railway schools have been increased from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,200. Meanwhile, in Sukkur and Rohri, the monthly fee has been revised from Rs. 850 to Rs. 1,050.
Railway authorities confirmed that the revised fee structure has come into effect from the current month.
