Pakistan Issues Advisory for Its Citizens Currently in Iran

Pakistan has issued an important advisory for its citizens currently residing in Iran, urging them to strictly follow safety instructions issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Mudassir Tipu, advised Pakistani nationals to avoid unnecessary movement and remain in constant contact with the Pakistani embassy due to the prevailing situation.

Communication Services Partially Affected

The ambassador informed that Wi-Fi services are currently down in Iran, while the telephone network has also been affected in some areas. However, he confirmed that phone lines at the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran and Pakistani consulates in other Iranian cities remain operational.

Pakistani citizens have been advised to contact the embassy or consulates on the official emergency numbers in case of urgent assistance.

Guidelines for Returning to Pakistan by Road

For citizens planning to return to Pakistan via road, the ambassador stressed that they must reach the border at least four hours before its scheduled closing time. He also emphasized the importance of getting an immigration exit stamp on passports, warning that failure to do so could lead to legal complications later.

Advice for Pakistani Students

Pakistani students wishing to return home have been advised to complete all required procedures before departure. The ambassador specifically urged students to obtain clearance certificates from their universities to avoid any administrative issues.

He added that the Pakistani Embassy is in continuous coordination with Iranian border authorities to ensure maximum facilitation for Pakistani citizens and students.

Students Successfully Returned

Ambassador Mudassir Tipu confirmed that more than 72 Pakistani students from Hormozgan University have already departed for Pakistan. Meanwhile, the repatriation process of Pakistani students from Zanjan University is ongoing.

He stated that the embassy provided full support and assistance to students returning from Hormozgan University and will continue to facilitate others until the situation normalizes.

Pakistani citizens in Iran have once again been urged to stay alert, follow official advisories, and remain connected with diplomatic missions for timely updates.
