The federal government has officially announced a nationwide public holiday on February 5, 2026, in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day, to pay tribute to Kashmiri martyrs and reaffirm Pakistan’s support for the people of Kashmir.
According to the official notification, citizens across the country will observe one minute of silence at 10:00 AM to honor the sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs and express solidarity with the Kashmiri struggle for self-determination.
