Pakistan Cricket Board Confirms PSL 11 Player Auction Schedule

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule and format for the PSL 11 Player Auction, which will begin at 11:00 AM on February 11, 2026, at the Expo Center Lahore.

This marks one of the most anticipated events ahead of the new Pakistan Super League season, as franchises prepare to reshape their squads.

Major Franchise Change Before PSL 11

The venue previously hosted the franchise auction of Multan Sultans, which was sold to Walee Technologies for Rs. 245 crore. The new ownership has reportedly decided to rebrand the franchise and shift its base to Rawalpindi — one of the biggest structural changes before the tournament.

PSL 11 Squad Composition Rules

The PCB has outlined key rules for team building:

  • Each team must have minimum 16 players

  • Maximum squad size is 20 players

  • Teams can include 5 to 7 foreign players depending on squad size

All selected and retained players will sign two-year contracts with their franchises.

Auction Budget & Direct Signings

The standard franchise purse for PSL 11 is set at Rs. 45 crore, with the possibility of extension up to Rs. 50.5 crore to allow direct overseas signings.

Each franchise can directly sign one foreign player who did not participate in PSL 10, adding flexibility to strengthen squads.

Excitement Builds Ahead of Auction Day

With budgets confirmed and rules clarified, franchises are now finalizing strategies to secure top local and international talent. Cricket fans across Pakistan are eagerly waiting to see major signings, surprise picks, and squad reshuffles.
