A German company, Punked, has introduced a smartphone called MC 03 that claims significantly longer battery life than typical devices.
While most smartphones last only one or two days on a charge, the MC 03 is said to run for 6 to 7 days on a single charge under normal use.
How Does It Last So Long?
Instead of relying on an oversized battery, the phone focuses on software efficiency and privacy controls. Many modern apps run in the background, consuming data and power. However, in the MC 03:
- Apps do not have internet access by default
- Background data collection is restricted
- Users have more control over app permissions
This reduces unnecessary battery drain.
