Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has temporarily halted the installation of Solar Green Meters for its consumers. The decision follows directives from the Ministry of Energy and applies to both residential and industrial users.
LESCO confirmed that new meters will only be installed once the ministry issues updated guidelines for Solar Green Meters. Similarly, other distribution companies have also suspended solar connections until official instructions are received.
