The Punjab government has finalized a plan to provide free transport in Lahore during the upcoming Basant festival. The plan has been approved by the Commissioner of Lahore Division, allowing citizens to travel free of cost on Metro Bus and the Orange Line Train.
Who Will Provide Free Transport?
According to the commissioner, the Punjab Mass Transit Authority, Punjab Transport Company, and private rider companies will all participate in providing free transport. Additionally, buses have been requested from government colleges and universities to meet the increased demand during Basant.

Free transport will be available on 24 main routes across Lahore.
