The district administration in Kohat has imposed a complete ban on the sale of petrol in bottles, citing public safety concerns.
According to official orders, Section 144 has been enforced across the district for a period of two months, prohibiting the sale of petrol in containers or bottles. The decision was announced by the Deputy Commissioner Kohat.

The Deputy Commissioner warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the ban. Authorities say the move aims to prevent fire hazards, accidents, and illegal fuel sales that pose risks to public safety.
Law enforcement agencies have been directed to ensure full implementation of the order throughout the district during the enforcement period.
Officials urged citizens and shopkeepers to comply with the restrictions to avoid penalties and ensure public safety.
