The United States cricket team has suffered a major setback ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as experienced batter Aaron Jones has been suspended from all forms of cricket with immediate effect.
The decision was announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after Jones was charged with five breaches of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code.

According to the ICC, Aaron Jones has been given 14 days to respond to the charges, but he will remain provisionally suspended during this period.
