The PSL 11 auction marks a major structural shift, especially with the addition of two new franchises from Hyderabad and Sialkot, expanding the competition to eight teams.

PSL 11 Auction Time and Venue

The auction is scheduled to start at 11:30 AM at the Expo Center Lahore. Franchise owners and team management will gather to bid for local and international players to finalize their squads.

Key Auction Rules

  • Each franchise could retain up to four players before the auction

  • Retentions were limited to one player per category (Platinum, Diamond, Gold, Silver)

  • Squad size must be 16 to 20 players

Teams must also include:

  • 5 to 7 overseas players

  • At least two uncapped Under-23 players

  • One uncapped Under-23 player in the playing XI

All auctioned players will sign two-year contracts with their teams.

The PCB has also announced plans for a grand auction after the 2027 season, showing that the league is evolving its recruitment model further.

Meanwhile, the franchise previously based in Multan has shifted operations to Rawalpindi after its recent sale, marking another big change ahead of PSL 11.
