Pakistan’s Momentum and Setback
Pakistan entered the tournament with strong momentum after winning the ACC U19 Asia Cup in Dubai and a tri-series in Zimbabwe. However, they lost their opening match to England by 37 runs, with Captain Farhan Yousaf top-scoring 65 runs and Ahmed Hussain picking up three wickets.
Bowling coach Rao Iftikhar Anjum described the England loss as a setback but assured that the team remains confident ahead of the Scotland match.
