The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue undergraduate studies in engineering and architecture in Bangladesh.
Under the program, admissions have been opened for foreign students at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), one of the country’s leading technical institutions. The scholarships are available for selected undergraduate programs in engineering and architecture.
HEC has clarified that applications will only be accepted through the commission, and direct applications to the university will not be considered. Pakistani students interested in applying must submit their applications via HEC’s designated process.
According to the commission, the last date to apply is January 16, 2026. Applicants have been advised to ensure that their applications are complete and submitted before the deadline to avoid disqualification or delays in processing.
HEC officials stated that the initiative aims to provide Pakistani students with international academic exposure and access to high-quality technical education, while strengthening educational cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
