Google continues to refine its Search experience as it moves beyond its traditionally minimal design. A new feature, currently rolling out to mobile devices, allows users to add color to the Google Search interface, offering a small but noticeable level of personalization.
The feature, known as “Color Your Search,” was first spotted by 9to5Google and is gradually appearing for selected users.
What Is “Color Your Search”?
The new option gives users ten different color choices to customize the appearance of Google Search.
These colors are designed to be subtle yet visually distinct, and selecting one changes the color of the top section of the Search page, including the header area. The rest of the interface remains clean and unchanged, preserving Google’s familiar look.
Limited Availability on Mobile Devices
According to reports, the feature is currently limited to larger-screen mobile devices.
