The mother of Pakistan’s former legendary off-spinner Saeed Ajmal has passed away in Faisalabad, leaving the cricket community in mourning.
According to family sources, the funeral prayer will be offered today at 6:00 PM at Bara Qabristan, Ghulam Muhammad Abad, following which the burial will take place.
Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohsin Naqvi, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. In his condolence message, he extended heartfelt sympathies to Saeed Ajmal and his family and prayed for the departed soul.
Mohsin Naqvi said he prays that Allah grants the deceased a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives strength and patience to Saeed Ajmal and his loved ones during this difficult time.
Members of the cricket fraternity and fans from across the country have also shared messages of condolence and prayers, standing in solidarity with Saeed Ajmal and his family as they grieve their loss.
