Flying cars, once confined to science fiction movies, are now just months away from becoming a real-world product. However, the price tag attached to this futuristic vehicle is enough to surprise even technology enthusiasts.
According to international media reports, US-based company Alef Aeronautics has officially begun production of the world’s first flying car, bringing a long-imagined concept into reality.
The vehicle, known as the Alef Model A, carries a starting price of $300,000. During the initial phase, the flying car will be made available only to selected customers, making it an exclusive product for early adopters.

A Car That Can Fly — and Drive
One of the most striking features of the Alef Model A is its dual capability. If a user chooses not to fly, the vehicle can be driven on regular roads like a conventional car. This unique design makes it feel straight out of a James Bond-style futuristic scene.
The flying car is fully electric and capable of both vertical takeoff and landing, making it suitable for navigating congested urban environments and avoiding traffic bottlenecks.
Strong Demand Despite High Cost
Despite its premium price, demand for the Alef Model A is rising rapidly. The company has already received more than 3,500 pre-orders, highlighting strong global interest in personal air mobility.
Alef Aeronautics confirmed that the vehicle is being manufactured at its Silicon Valley facility and is expected to be available to customers in early 2026.
A Glimpse Into the Future of Transport
The company says the flying car has been designed with urban mobility in mind, offering a potential solution to growing traffic congestion in major cities.
While flying cars may still be out of reach for most consumers, the launch of the Alef Model A signals a major shift toward a future where personal air travel could become part of everyday life.
