The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced a scheduled electricity shutdown in parts of Joharabad to facilitate essential maintenance and repair work.
According to an official press release issued by the Executive Engineer (Operations), FESCO Division Joharabad, power supply will remain suspended on multiple dates in January 2026, between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, due to maintenance on feeders and grid-related works.

Shutdown Schedule

January 5, 2026: Power suspension on selected feeders including industrial and residential areas linked to Joharabad Grid Station

January 8, 2026: Scheduled maintenance affecting additional feeders supplying nearby localities

January 12, 2026: Repair work on distribution lines connected to the grid station

January 14, 2026: Final phase of maintenance and technical upgrades
FESCO said the outages are necessary to ensure system stability, safety, and improved power supply in the affected areas.
