Preparations for Ramadan 2026 are already underway, and as per tradition, shopping malls and restaurants in Dubai are expected to extend their operating hours during the holy month.
Like previous years, most major shopping malls are likely to remain open throughout the day, while extended hours after Iftar are expected to accommodate increased evening footfall.

Likely Mall Timings
Although the official Ramadan 2026 timings have not yet been announced, authorities are expected to follow a schedule similar to Ramadan 2026.
-
Mirdif City Centre and City Centre Deira are expected to operate from 10:00 am to 1:00 am
-
Major shopping destinations such as Arabian Centre, Nakheel Mall, Dragon Mart, Outlet Village, and others are also likely to adjust their hours accordingly
Restaurants and Food Courts
Food courts and cafés will continue serving non-fasting individuals, children, elderly people, and those exempt from fasting during daytime hours.
Restaurants are expected to:
-
Introduce special Iftar menus and Ramadan offers
-
Remain open until 2:00 am in many areas
Dubai hotels are also preparing traditional Emirati and international Iftar and Suhoor arrangements for residents and tourists.
Entertainment and Cinemas
-
Dubai Festival City Mall and City Walk are expected to stay open until 12:00 midnight
-
Dining outlets in these areas may operate until 1:00 am
-
Cinemas such as VOX Cinemas, Reel Cinemas, and Roxy Cinemas may open between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm, continuing late into the night
Advisory for Residents and Tourists
Authorities have advised residents and visitors to check official mall and cinema websites or social media pages closer to Ramadan for the latest and confirmed operating hours.
