The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has released its latest weather forecast, stating that cold and dry conditions will continue in most parts of the country during the night and coming hours.
According to PMD, several northern and mountainous regions may experience light rain and snowfall, while plains will remain mostly cold and dry.
Islamabad and Surrounding Areas
In Islamabad and nearby areas, the weather is expected to remain cold with partly cloudy skies. No major rainfall is forecast, but temperatures are likely to stay low during nighttime.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather Update
Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience cold and dry weather, while mountainous areas will remain very cold and partly cloudy.
PMD predicts that during evening and night hours, Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Swat, and Kalam may receive light rain and snowfall at a few places.
Punjab Weather Conditions
In Punjab, cold and dry weather is expected in most districts.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully in fog-prone areas.

Most parts of Balochistan will remain cold and partly cloudy to cloudy.

Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to remain very cold with cloudy conditions.
PMD has also forecast light rain and snowfall at isolated places in these regions.
