CDA Announces Open Cricket Trials – A Big Chance for Young Players

A total of 10 men’s teams will participate in the Ramzan Talent Hunt Cup 2026.

  • Eight teams will come from top clubs of the recently concluded PCB tournament

  • Two teams will be selected through open trials

The tournament will also serve as a pathway for players to join the CDA Cricket Team for the Patron’s Trophy Grade-II 2026.

Men’s Trial Schedule and Venue

Men’s trials will be held on:

  • Dates: February 11 and 12, 2026

  • Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Venue: CDA National Cricket Ground, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad

Eligibility Criteria for Men

Players must have participated in one of the following within the last three years:

  • First-Class Cricket

  • Grade-II Cricket

  • District/CCA or Division Cricket

  • Pakistan Under-19

  • Pakistan Shaheens / Pakistan ‘A’

  • National Under-19

Required Documents and Dress Code

Participants must bring:

  • Original Form-B or Smart CNIC (Form-B preferred)

  • Two recent passport-size color photographs

Players without white cricket uniforms will not be allowed to take part in trials.

Women’s Talent Hunt Trials

Women’s trials will take place on:

  • Date: February 13, 2026

  • Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Venue: CDA National Cricket Ground, Islamabad

Selected players may get the opportunity to join the CDA Women Cricket Team.

Partnership Between CDA and PCB

The Talent Hunt Program is part of an agreement signed between CDA and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in December 2025.

The partnership focuses on:

  • Upgrading cricket grounds in Islamabad

  • Promoting youth cricket

  • Providing international-standard coaching and training

  • Ensuring transparent and merit-based selection
