Bangladesh has taken a strong stance against the Indian Premier League (IPL) following the exclusion of star fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman, announcing a ban on IPL broadcasts and promotions across the country.
According to an official statement issued by the Bangladeshi government, all IPL-related telecasts have been suspended with immediate effect. The decision places an indefinite ban on live matches, promotional content, and event coverage linked to the Indian T20 league.
Authorities said the move was taken in the public interest, stressing that no IPL-related content would be allowed on television or digital platforms in Bangladesh until further notice.
