Apple Pulls iPhone 14 Series From Sale After iPhone 16e Launch

Apple has officially discontinued the production and sale of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, and iPhone SE (3rd generation) following the announcement of its new iPhone 16e model.

As a result of the decision, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are no longer available for purchase directly from Apple’s website or official retail stores. However, limited stock of these models may still be available through third-party retailers and mobile carriers until inventories run out.

According to reports, the newly launched iPhone 16e is positioned as the replacement for both the SE lineup and the iPhone 14 Plus. The device features a 6.1-inch display, Apple’s latest A18 chip, Face ID, and a USB-C port, aligning it with Apple’s newer design and performance standards.

Apple has clarified that the discontinued models will continue to receive iOS updates and security support until at least 2029–2030, ensuring that existing users can continue using their devices without disruption.

The company stated that the move is part of its strategy to simplify its product lineup, comply with European Union USB-C regulations, and boost sales of the new budget-friendly iPhone 16e. Consumers may also find discounted deals on remaining stock of older models through resellers.

With this shift, Apple is encouraging new buyers to opt for the iPhone 16e or other current-generation models, while reassuring existing users that support for their devices remains intact.
