The Pakistan Cricket Board has officially confirmed Australia’s tour of Pakistan later this month, with a three-match T20 International series set to take place in Lahore.
All three matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, with the series scheduled to begin on January 29. The remaining fixtures will be held on January 31 and February 1.

According to officials, the Australian T20I squad is expected to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, January 28, one day before the opening match.
Key Series Significance
The series holds major importance for both sides as part of their preparations for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Pakistan are placed in Group A, while Australia will compete in Group B of the tournament.
This tour also marks Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since March 2022, highlighting the strengthening of international cricket ties. During their 2022 tour, Australia played a Test series, three One-Day Internationals, and a T20I on Pakistani soil.
