Federal Board Confirms Intermediate Annual Exam Date 2026

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has officially announced the schedule for the Intermediate (HSSC) First Year Annual Examinations 2026, confirming that exams will begin on April 28, 2026.

Along with the exam date, the board has also opened online submission of admission forms and released a complete schedule covering fees and deadlines for regular, private, and improvement candidates.

Admission Form Deadlines

According to the Federal Board:

  • Normal fee submissions: Up to February 3

  • Double fee submissions: February 4 to February 12

  • Triple fee submissions: February 13 to February 24

Students are advised to submit their forms within the normal fee period to avoid additional charges.

Examination Fee Structure

The Federal Board has set the following fees:

  • First Year (Part-I): Rs. 2,700

  • Unregistered candidates: Rs. 4,200

  • Both Parts (Part-I & Part-II together): Rs. 5,400

Additionally, a Rs. 2,000 fee will be charged for:

  • Corrections in admission forms

  • Rectification of details on roll number slips

Fee Exemptions

FBISE has announced full fee exemptions for:

  • Orphan students

  • Persons with disabilities

  • Prisoner candidates

The board has encouraged students to carefully review all details before submission to avoid correction charges and delays.

The release of the exam schedule marks the start of final preparations for thousands of students appearing in the Intermediate Annual Examinations 2026.
