The schedule for the 21st TDCP International Cholistan Desert Rally has been officially confirmed, with the high-profile motorsport event set to run from February 4 to February 8, 2026, in the Cholistan Desert near Bahawalpur.
The rally will once again transform Pakistan’s vast desert terrain into a hub of high-speed racing, drawing motorsport fans and participants from across the country.

Organised by TDCP
The event is being organised by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) and will feature both national and international drivers competing across demanding desert tracks.
Known for its challenging routes and extreme conditions, the Cholistan Desert Rally tests the endurance, skill, and navigation abilities of racers, making it one of the most anticipated motorsport events in the region.
More Than Just a Race
Beyond competitive racing, the rally plays a significant role in:
-
Promoting tourism in South Punjab
-
Showcasing local culture and heritage
-
Supporting economic activity in surrounding areas
Over the years, the event has grown into a major public spectacle, attracting large crowds and extensive media coverage.
TDCP on the Rally’s Growth
In a statement issued earlier, TDCP Managing Director Asim Raza said that after more than two decades of continuous development, the Cholistan Desert Rally has become the largest desert rally in South Asia.
He added that the event has made a meaningful contribution to Pakistan’s tourism profile and reflects Punjab’s broader strategy to promote tourism at both national and international levels.
Looking Ahead
With preparations underway, the 2026 edition is expected to deliver another thrilling chapter in Pakistan’s motorsport calendar, further strengthening the country’s reputation as a destination for adventure sports and desert racing.
