Mahindra has officially launched the Mahindra XUV 7XO, with prices starting at Rs 13.66 lakh (ex-showroom). The new SUV is the facelifted version of the XUV700 and follows Mahindra’s updated naming strategy after the XUV 3XO.

What’s New in the Mahindra XUV 7XO

The XUV 7XO introduces a refreshed design inspired by Mahindra’s latest electric vehicles. It features boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, a new front grille, updated alloy wheels, and a connected LED tail-light setup. Suspension tuning has also been revised to improve ride comfort.

Inside, the SUV gets a triple-screen layout, including a digital instrument cluster, infotainment system, and a passenger display — each measuring 12.4 inches. Other highlights include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos.

Safety and Technology

On the safety front, the top variants offer seven airbags, a 540-degree camera system, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, ISOFIX mounts, and Level 2 ADAS features such as adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Mahindra says the XUV 7XO has been engineered to meet Bharat NCAP five-star standards.

Engine and Performance

The SUV continues with familiar powertrains:

  • 2.0-litre turbo-petrol producing 200hp

  • 2.2-litre diesel delivering up to 185hp

Both engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes, while higher diesel trims also offer an AWD option.

Price Range

The Mahindra XUV 7XO is priced between Rs 13.66 lakh and Rs 24.92 lakh, with introductory prices applicable for the first 40,000 units.

With upgraded design, technology, and safety, the XUV 7XO strengthens Mahindra’s position in the competitive three-row SUV segment.
