Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially started preparations for Ramadan 2026, ensuring a comfortable experience for passengers observing fasts during the holy month. The national carrier has issued tenders to procure 130,000 packets of dates, each weighing between 30 and 35 grams, to be served on domestic and international flights.

In addition to dates, PIA has floated a separate tender for 200ml juice packs, with millions of units expected to be procured for its Ramadan operations. Interested suppliers have been directed to submit bids to PIA’s Supply Chain Department by January 14.
These preparations form part of PIA’s routine arrangements to provide iftar services, highlighting the airline’s commitment to passenger comfort and tradition during Ramadan. With these measures, travelers can expect a well-coordinated in-flight experience, making fasting on board more convenient and enjoyable.
