Flour Prices Jump Again in Quetta, Adding to Public Woes

Residents of Quetta are facing fresh financial pressure as flour prices have increased once again, adding to the growing cost of living in the city.

According to flour dealers, the price of flour has risen from Rs. 110 per kilogram to Rs. 120 per kilogram in local markets. As a result, the price of a 50-kilogram flour bag has gone up by Rs. 500, making it harder for households to manage daily expenses.

Dealers said the latest increase was driven by higher rates set by flour mill owners, which have been passed directly on to consumers.

The price hike has sparked concern among citizens, who are already struggling with inflation and rising food costs. Many fear that further increases could follow if supply and pricing issues are not addressed.
