The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has issued an important advisory urging citizens to collect their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) as soon as they are ready.
Officials warned that CNICs left uncollected for over three months are disposed of under NADRA’s policy.
Citizens who fail to collect their ID cards within this timeframe will have to reapply and pay the prescribed fee to get a new card issued.

📢 Important Instructions
-
Collect your CNIC immediately after it is ready.
-
Uncollected CNICs after 3 months will be cancelled and destroyed.
-
For deceased family members, visit the nearest NADRA Centre or use the Pak ID mobile app to update records.
NADRA emphasized that prompt collection and timely updates help maintain an accurate citizens’ database and prevent identity misuse.
