Under examination reforms, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has made biometric verification compulsory for the registration of 9th and 11th class students.
Board officials confirmed that thumb scanning of both hands will now be required during the registration process.
New System for Schools
All public and private educational institutions have been directed to complete biometric arrangements. Schools must ensure:

Strict Compliance Required
Authorities stated that fingerprints of both thumbs must be recorded at the time of student registration. Any delay or negligence in implementation will be the responsibility of the head of the institution.
