The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has cancelled weekly holidays for its officers and employees to ensure smooth electricity supply and quick complaint resolution during Basant celebrations.
An official directive has made duty mandatory on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, placing operational and field teams on high alert across Lahore.
Why Holidays Were Cancelled
LESCO officials stated that Basant festivities increase the risk of power faults and electrical accidents, particularly due to kite-flying activities. To tackle any emergency without delay, all relevant staff will remain on duty.
