Karachi Board Extends Class 10 Exam Form Submission Deadline

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has issued an important announcement for Class 10 students, extending the deadline for submitting online annual examination forms.

According to the board, matric students can now submit their examination forms without late fees until February 13.

Relief for Government School Students

In a major relief measure, regular and private students of Science and General groups studying in government schools will be able to submit their examination forms without any fee.
This decision was made on the special instructions of Chairman Board, Ghulam Hussain Soho.

Late Fee Schedule Announced

Board officials have clearly stated that no further extension will be granted. After February 13, the following late fee structure will apply:

  • February 16 – 20: PKR 500 late fee
  • February 23 – 27: PKR 800 late fee
  • March 2 – 5: PKR 1,200 late fee
  • March 6 – 11: PKR 1,500 late fee
  • March 12 – 17: PKR 1,800 late fee
  • After final deadline: PKR 2,500 late fee

Students are advised to complete their form submission within the announced dates to avoid unnecessary charges.

Board’s Advisory to Students

The Karachi Board has urged students and parents to submit forms as early as possible, ensuring all information is accurate to prevent issues later during examinations.

Conclusion

The deadline extension provides temporary relief for Class 10 students, but the board has made it clear that this is the final schedule. Timely submission will help students avoid heavy late fees and last-minute stress.
