Authorities have decided to launch a modern and environment-friendly electric bus service in Multan Division to improve public transportation and reduce pollution.
Before starting the service, the government will construct modern bus shelters across the division to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
Project Overview
According to officials:

Total electric buses: 114

Total bus shelters: 470
These buses will operate across major cities and districts of Multan Division.

The project will be implemented in phases:
First Phase

3 main routes in Multan
Second Phase

5 additional routes
Meanwhile, authorities have completed the tendering process for:

49 shelters in Multan City

87 shelters in Multan Saddar
Expansion to Other Districts
The project also includes other districts:

Khanewal: 15 buses, 136 shelters

Vehari: 10 buses, 64 shelters

Lodhran: 15 buses, 134 shelters (tendering in progress)

Multan Division Commissioner Aamir Kareem Khan has directed concerned departments to ensure high quality, transparency, and timely completion of the project before launching the service.
