The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a fresh increase in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices for the month of February 2026, adding to the financial burden on consumers.
OGRA has issued an official notification confirming the new rates.
Per Kg LPG Price Increased
According to the notification, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs 6.37 per kilogram for February.
As a result, the new LPG price has been fixed at Rs 226.05 per kg, compared to Rs 219.67 per kg in January 2026.
Domestic Cylinder Becomes More Expensive
OGRA also announced an increase in the price of the 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder, which has been made Rs 75.21 more expensive for February.
The new price of the 11.8 kg household cylinder has been set at Rs 2,667.40.
Impact on Households
The increase is expected to impact household budgets, especially in areas where LPG is widely used for cooking due to limited access to natural gas.
Consumers have expressed concerns over repeated price hikes, urging authorities to provide relief amid rising living costs.
