Punjab University has announced that it will celebrate Basant Festival 2026 with colorful and vibrant activities on campus, bringing back the traditional spirit of kite flying and cultural festivities.
According to sources, a two-day Basant event will be organized, featuring kite-flying competitions, live musical performances, and a variety of food stalls for students and staff.
Venues and Activities
The main kite-flying competitions will be held at the Hailey College of Commerce main ground, while the Old Campus will host the Basant Music Festival, food stalls, and special kite-flying arrangements.
