The Punjab government has finalized a major public-friendly plan to make Basant celebrations in Lahore more vibrant, safe, and accessible. Under the initiative, free transport services will be provided to citizens across the city during Basant.
The move aims to encourage maximum public participation while ensuring organized and secure travel to official Basant events.

🚨 CM Office Requests Buses From Universities and Colleges
According to sources, the Chief Minister’s Office has formally requested universities and colleges in Lahore to provide buses for the free transport service.
Under the proposed plan:

Total buses to be arranged: 600
-
500 buses from universities
-
100 buses from colleges
These buses will be deployed at key locations throughout Lahore to facilitate citizens attending government-organized Basant programs.
